2D And 3D Art: Dimension Comparison
[ send me this paper ]
5 pages in length. When one considers the fact that painters are two-dimensional artisans and sculptors represent three-dimensional art, one can readily surmise that while the two artistic modalities appear to have little in common with each other, the sculptor gains a significant amount of his craft from the presence of two-dimensional application. Even within the narrow boundaries of print art, the painter is able to transform his two-dimensional art into a three-dimensional creation with nothing more than a stroke of a brush. How is this possible? The writer discusses that for the painter this transformation requires only light; for the sculptor, the requirements are much more sophisticated. No bibliography.
